Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000

1. Introduction

This manual is published in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 ("PAIA"). It describes the records held by Tarzan SwingBot and how requests for access may be made.

2. Information Officer

All PAIA requests should be addressed to the Information Officer at hello@tarzanswingbot.ai.

3. Records held

  • Account, authentication, and profile records.
  • Trading configuration and execution logs.
  • Customer correspondence and support records.
  • Statutory records required under tax, financial, and labour legislation.

4. How to request access

Requests must be made on the prescribed form (Form 02) issued by the South African Human Rights Commission. Submit the completed form, sufficient identification, and the prescribed fee (where applicable) to the Information Officer.

5. Response time

We will respond to PAIA requests within 30 days of receipt of a valid request, in accordance with section 56 of PAIA.

6. Grounds for refusal

Access may be refused on the grounds set out in Chapter 4 of PAIA, including the protection of third-party personal information, commercial information, and confidential records.

7. Remedies

A requester may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator or apply to a competent court if access is refused.
